Joys of Spring

Now a session down at the allotment is not my favourite activity, though I do enjoy eating the produce;  cutting the grass today, I was delighted to see a tiny purple crocus peeping through the thick grass.  The mower was set so high, it was even there once I’d passed over.

How come the work on the zebra crossing outside Lloyds chemist in East Cowes has left us with varying shades of coloured bumpy matting?
When they moved all the display units around in Lloyds Chemist, why couldn’t they have cleared the years of built up grime off the floor?
